Alhaji Shut Down FHE, unveils Plot 39


Federal Housing Estate Egbu Road Owerri was shut down on Sunday, 26th of September 2021, as Alhaji Okechukwu Azu marked his 50th birthday anniversary in grand style.
Society crème de la crème from every sphere of enterprise and politics thronged the venue, to celebrate the former aide to former governors Rochas Okorocha and Emeka Ihedioha.
Popular Owerri based master of ceremony and comedian, MC Duke was in full performance, as he thrilled guests with his comedy.

Born 50 years ago, Alhaji Okechukwu Azu, from Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area, is a United States of America trained management expert, businessman and politician, with major interests in building and real estate.
Alhaji was a former Special Adviser to former Deputy Governor of Imo State, Jude Agbaso.
He was retained by former governor Rochas Okorocha, following Agbaso’s impeachment by the Imo State House of Assembly.
Under Okorocha, Alhaji held numerous portfolios, including Chairman on Petroleum in Imo State amongst others.
In every position he held, Alhaji displayed a high level of dedication to his job, putting service first over personal enrichment.
Alhaji was amongst the first to pull out of the Rochas Okorocha administration, and joined the APC Coalition, which resisted the emergence of Uche Nwosu as Okorocha’s successor.
Following the declaration by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, of Rt Hon Emeka Ihedioha as Imo governor, Alhaji was appointed to help in the recovery of government property. It was a task he did diligently, and has today helped the Hope Uzodinma administration, in the recovery drive of the government.
Alhaji has remained a pillar in the society and the shutting down of the estate to mark his new age, was an expression of love by his people.
The event also marked the opening of his Executive guesthouse, Plot 39.
Alhaji is a loving husband, father and grandfather.
